The Ford EcoSport was spotted yet again by an Indian Autos Blog reader in Chennai. Reader Ajith PP stuck out his camera and clicked away at the fleeing mule on the Tambaram highway, the same location where Gokul spotted it on Saturday.

The EcoSport is clothed using a chess board. Whether it will check-mate the Duster (another car busily testing in Chennai) is what we're waiting to find out.

If an Argentinian automobile blog is to be believed, the 4.2-meter long EcoSport will be offered in 4X4 and as many as seven airbags will be present on the top-end model. Ford did not have time to develop the dual clutch transmission, but will start work soon for a phase II variants launch. Freestyle, XLS and XLT are the trims for the overseas markets, will Ford India use them or not remains to be seen.

Ford has plans to offer the EcoSport with non-Ecoboost engines in other countries. In India, the 1.5-liter diesel and 1-liter turbo petrol engines will propel the car. It will be manufactured alongside the Fiesta and Figo at the Maraimalai Nagar factory.
