To be launched in India next year.
The BMW X6 (codename F16), which is now in its second generation, went on sale this year in the markets abroad. The vehicle is headed for the Indian dealerships in 2015, but deliveries of the same have already begun in the North American continent.
Bimmerpost forum member Mikli has already received his, and is sharing the happiness with other members of the forum. The vehicle is the xDrive35i version, which might not be made available in India as BMW could continue with a diesel only line up for the SUV-Coupe.
Expected to arrive in India sometime next year, the 2015 BMW X6 is likely to be joined by its more powerful version, the X6 M. Recently unveiled at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, the X6 M is powered by a 4.4-litre biturbo turbocharged V8 engine that makes a maximum of 575 hp of power and 750 Nm of maximum torque.
The X6 shares its underpinnings with the new X5, which means there will be some weight reduction, too, translating into better on-road dynamics and improved efficiency as well. BMW India is yet to announce the launch dates and prices, but expect the latter to be similar to the outgoing model.

With Mercedes Benz introducing the GLE Coupe next year, BMW can still make the most of the early start and show who's the leader of the still rather new segment of SUV Coupes.
