The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has started reaching dealership stockyards ahead of its launch on 20 August 2019. Here's its first walkaround video, published by YouTuber Tanmay Gupta.

The walkaround video gives an almost complete view of the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios' rear-end, an angle that has not been shown in much detail yet officially. The rear combination lamps have gone through a transformation and somehow they remind us of the Tata Tiago. The boot lid retains a neat, straightforward design, but now carries 'Nios' branding in the middle to let onlookers know this is the third-gen Hyundai i10. The license plate indentation is still on the rear bumper, which looks sportier and carries vertical reflectors now.

The third-gen model measures 3,805 mm in length, 1,608 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height. Compared to the second-gen model, it is 40 mm longer and 20 mm wider. The wheelbase, at 2,405 mm, is 25 mm longer. The engine options will include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol unit churning out 81 BHP of maximum power and 114 Nm of peak torque and a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder diesel unit delivering 74 BHP and 190 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual will be the transmission choices available with these BS-VI engines. The fuel economy ratings will range from 20.5-28.4 km/l.

Projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, semi-digital instrument panel, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and rear parking camera are some of the salient features of the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The range will include Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz Dual Tone and Asta grades.

Hyundai commenced the pre-bookings of the Grand i10 Nios on the 7th of this month. Customers can reserve their unit for a token amount of INR 11,000 through a local dealership or the company's website. The old model will be continued, but very soon, it will be devoid of a lot of options and become an economy product.
