Expected to launch in mid-February.
FCA Brazil is in the build up phase of the launch of the Fiat Toro, keeping the initial batch ready for delivery, as seen in this Autos Segredos spyshot. The report states that it will be delivered to respective showrooms from January 15, and launch in mid-February.
The front-end has sleek pilot lamps separated from main headlamps, which flow into the dual-slat chrome grille. The lower bumper has chrome-trimmed enclosures in top variants and a silver skid plate. The rear-end of the Toro features sleek wraparound taillamps, a large Fiat logo, and a barn-style tailgate that opens outwards
The Toro’s interior is inline with Fiat’s latest products, as seen in the steering wheel, piano black center console and instrument cluster. Higher trims could feature FCA’s 5 inch UConnect infotainment system as standard and a large MID in the center of the instrument cluster.
The Fiat Toro's engine lineup includes a 1.8 16v E-Torq Flex petrol engine and 2.0 16v Multijet turbo diesel. The former produces 138 bhp and is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the latter delivers 170 bhp through a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. A 4×4 drivetrain is only available in the turbodiesel variant and the Toro’s maximum payload is 1,000 kg.
