Indian Autos Blog published the first ever spy pictures of the Datsun Go testing in India yesterday. Today, we are back with another set of spyshots clicked by our reader, Mr. Nelson Adaickalasamy, who was riding pillion to work.
This Go was spotted on the GST Road which connects Chennai city to the Renault-Nissan factory located in Oragadam, from where the Go will roll out beginning next year.
The Go spotted here appears to be painted in the Bronze Grey color, which also happens to be the communication color for the recently launched Nissan Terrano. So we know that Nissan will offer at least four color choices on the Go (Grey, White, a Gold Beige and Blue) when its launched early next year.

Based on the Nissan Micra's 'V' platform, the Go will be powered by the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that powers petrol variants of the Micra and Micra Active. Nissan engineers could detune the engine in the interest of fuel economy, given that Go customers would be first time car buyers with low running costs in mind.
Inside, the Go sports a dashboard-mounted gear lever thus liberating extra space between the driver and passenger seat. Nissan has made use of this space rather cleverly by offering adjoined seats which may be used by an additional passenger on short journeys.
The Go has been promised with a starting price below INR 4 lakhs and we expect to hear more details in the days to come. Stay tuned to IndianAutosBlog.com!
