To be unveiled at the Chengdu Motor Show next month.
Spyshots of the upcoming Citroen C4 sedan have been posted on Chinese website autohome before its debut at the Chengdu Motor Show starting on September 4. The C4 sedan is the next generation of the Citroen c-Quatre and will be seen in showrooms from November.
The car codenamed ‘BZ3’ will be manufactured by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. It will be placed in the lineup between the C-Elysee and C4L.
The successor has a more stylish and sleek design with the fascia getting a wide double-chevron grille, redesigned bumper and new headlight design. The rear is equally pleasing with rectangular 3D-effect tail lamps joined by a fat chrome strip.
The interior in the spy shot looks well laid out with a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and generous dosage of chrome accents. The instrument cluster has changed from being a digital, centrally mounted unit on the dashboard to a more conventional behind-the-steering wheel twin-pod analog unit.
The Piano Black finish of the center console from previous has given way to a silver metallic finish with the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation taking center stage.
The features of the car has not been revealed yet, but based on the C4 hatchback version that is on sale, the top trim could get a reverse camera, blind-spot monitor, front parking sensors, keyless entry, auto-dipping mirrors and cloth/leather upholstery.
