The BMW G 310R will be one of the key products in the Indonesian market.
The German motorcycle manufacturer, BMW Motorrad, has inaugurated a new flagship store in Jakarta.
With the world eagerly waiting for the BMW G 310R and G 310GS, the Germans have started beefing up the sales network. The focus this time was on Indonesia, which is a big two-wheeler market in South East Asia. The store is located at Jalan TB, Simatupang No. 11, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Jakarta.
The G 310R is a result of BMW Motorrad and TVS’ tie up chalked out in April 2013. Designed and developed in Munich the motorcycle is BMW’s attempt to diversify its product portfolio to cater developing markets. The 313 cc single cylinder mill in the G 310R churns out 34 PS of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque.
The Jakarta flagship dealership is built over an area of 1,700 square metre and is spread across 5 floors. The facility includes sales, service and a spare parts centre. The display area can showcase 35 motorcycles. A lounge area is also present where motorcyclists can enjoy refreshments while their bike is serviced.
The BMW G 310R, as per Indonesian media, will be launched in the country next year.
