A Motoroids reader, Lengdon Rajkhowa, spotted the upcoming KTM RC390, KTM RC200 and the Bajaj Pulsar 200SS in Pune, Maharashtra. It should be noted that all three motorcycles will be produced from Bajaj's Chakan facility (located on the outskirts of Pune) when they're launched this year.
KTM RC390 & KTM RC200
The KTM RC390 and RC200 had their world premieres in November last year at the EICMA 2013. These motorcycles represent the fully-faired community, though they're based on their respective naked siblings: the Duke 390 and Duke 200.
While the RC390 gets power from a 375 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine (found in the Duke 390) which produces 43 hp, the RC200 will use a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled engine output 26 hp. Both motorcycles come paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
A KTM India official confirmed to Indian Autos Blog that the launch of the RC390 will take place in the early half of the next financial year.
Bajaj Pulsar 200SS
The Pulsar 200SS (Super Sport) will have its design inspired by the SS400 (shown at the Auto Expo 2014). According to previous reports, the 200SS will use the 200NS' platform and motivation would come from a fuel-injected version of the 199.5 cc engine used on the 200NS. This liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine would produce about 23 bhp and 18 Nm of torque on the 200SS, while a 6-speed gearbox will perform the transmission duties.
