Launch expected shortly.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS which has been spotted testing several times has finally been snapped with its production-spec livery by Facebook user Mr. Rakesh Gowda during what appears to be a private showcase. The fully faired motorcycle, as expected, borrows its design completely from the Bajaj SS 400 which was unveiled at the Auto Expo earlier this year.
Save for the subtly different livery and 200 SS badge on the tailpiece, the smaller sportsbike remains true to the flagship SS 400. The sharp styling is complemented by twin projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, two-piece rear combination lights and a short silencer endcan which eschews the naked sibling's underbelly unit.
The powertrain will be shared with the Pulsar 200 NS. The 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine produces 23.52 PS (23.18 bhp) at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm in its carbureted guise. It remains to be seen whether the faired version will benefit from an electronic fuel injection system or not.
