On the inside, the Audi Q7 Black Edition is the replica of the Audi Q7 in the Technology trim (the top-spec trim of the regular Q7).

The Black Edition has simply enhanced the X-factor of Audi's flagship SUV and has made it sportier-looking thanks to the use of contrasting black colour on various exterior elements. Speaking of which, it gets titanium gloss black finish on the front grille along with the air intake struts, high gloss black treatment on the door trim strips and on the window line and titanium black matte rear diffuser. Its roof rail and alloy wheels are also black.

On the inside, the Q7 Black Edition is the replica of the Q7 in the Technology trim (the top-spec trim of the regular Q7). The mechanicals, too, are the same. The special edition SUV is available with the same 2,967 cc diesel (183 PS and 600 Nm) and 1,984 cc petrol (183 PS and 370 Nm) engines as the regular SUV. An 8-speed tiptronic transmission is standard.

Speaking about the new model, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said: "We are selling only 100 units of the Audi Q7 Black Edition and are confident that Audi family members and luxury aficionados will grab the opportunity to own this attractive car. To uplift the consumer sentiment this festive season, Government of India's initiative of 30% depreciation will act like a booster."
