Apart from showcasing the RSV4 ABS, Italian motorcycle maker Aprilia, brought along the Caponord as well. Powered by a 1,197 cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, V-Twin engine, the Caponord produces 123 hp at 8,250 rpm and 11.7 kgm of torque at 6,800 rpm, operated via a 6-speed gearbox.
Stopping power is provided by dual 320 mm stainless steel discs at the front and a 240 mm stainless steel disc at the rear.
Suspension duties are handled by 43 mm Sachs upside-down fork with fully adjustable compression and rebound damping with spring preload at the front, while the rear gets Sachs dynamic monoshock absorber with spring preload.
The Caponord measures 2,245 mm in length, 1,440 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,565 mm. The motorcycle weighs 214 kg and comes with a 24 liter fuel tank.

Aprilia also makes an adventure variant of the Caponord with a travel pack, a dynamic damping system and cruise control. Safety features such as ABS and ATC (Aprilia Traction Control) are standard even on the base model.
The company has not confirmed if the Caponord will launch in India.
