Suzuki has instructed its dealers to adopt a new layout and it will allow only those outlets to sell the new quarter-litre model which make this upgrade. The new showroom layout, as claimed by the source report, will have motorcycle display, riding gear and accessories area. The dealerships will also have to install LED TVs that will play product videos. A dedicated poster board will accompany all products.

The facelift to the showrooms targets to give an upmarket and premium experience to the visitors. Honda, on the other hand, has started opening dedicated “Honda BigWing” outlets for Honda big bike models ranging from 300cc CB300R to the mighty 1800cc Goldwing.

Suzuki will launch the quarter-litre motorcycle in India in only a fully-faired version. This model will feature dual-channel ABS as standard and will be available in three colour options – blue, grey and silver. It will mount a BS-IV 26.6 hp 250 cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, oil-cooled motor. It will compete with the Honda CBR250R and the Fazer 250.

Anchoring power will come from disc brakes on both ends. Do note that its rivals also have dual-channel ABS. Shock absorption duties will be handled by conventional telescopic forks and a monoshock suspension at the front and rear respectively. The motorcycle will pack full-LED headlight, LED tail lamp, dual exhaust tips and fully-digital instrument console, likely with Bluetooth connectivity.
