Spy shots have exposed the design of the first model from Revolt Intellicorp, which is an electric motorcycle.

The production-spec electric motorcycle was seen in Gurgaon, Haryana. Regular readers would know that Revolt Intellicorp has a one lakh square feet facility in Manesar, Haryana with a production capacity of 1.2 lakh units per annum.

The test mule was seen with a dual tone finish. The red base paint was complemented by white highlights throughout various panels on the motorcycle. The underbelly fibre panel has a black finish with red highlights for a contrasting look. The red colour of the body can also be seen on the front fender and around the headlight.

Unlike the earlier prototype, the recent unit was seen with a silver finish for the sub-frame. The pillion grab rail and the swingarm get the same colour as the sub-frame. A split-style pillion grab rail would’ve given a sportier look to the rear. The new spy images also give us the first glimpse of the disc brakes, and the rear unit appears to be larger than the front. Looking at the photos, it seems that the motorcycle will come equipped with a single-channel ABS.

As confirmed by Revolt Intellicorp, the first product from the company, an Artificial Intelligence-enabled electric motorcycle, will be launched in Delhi-NCR, where it will start operations in the first phase, by June 2019. The launch will most likely be preceded by the installation of charging infrastructure at convenient locations across the city. The charging points are expected to feature fast chargers. A similar strategy is used by Ather Energy in Bangalore.

Revolt Intellicorp has confirmed that its first electric motorcycle will deliver an ARAI-certified range of 156 km. The top speed has been rated at 85 km/h.

A report from earlier this month claimed that the Revolt Intellicorp targets 75% localisation at launch. The localisation levels are expected to reach 100% by end-FY2020. The first product will reportedly arrive at approximately INR 1,20,000. The FAME II subsidy of INR 25,000 will bring the effective price down to INR 95,000.
