Bajaj dealerships across the country have started accepting pre-orders for the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400. Booking amount is anywhere between INR 1,000 to INR 5,000 depending on the showroom.
The all-new Bajaj Dominar 400 was spied earlier this month with saddle bags and luggage accessories. The Dominar 400 facelift will receive upgraded mechanicals and a few cosmetic changes. The motorcycle will feature upside-down forks, an updated instrument cluster, new exhaust system, redesigned mirrors and a slightly revised front fender.
Furthermore, a 15 February report revealed the technical specifications of the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400. The 373.2cc, 4-valve fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor will pump out 39.9 bhp of power at 8,650 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine will continue to use the slip-assist clutch equipped six-speed gearbox. In comparison, the outgoing model generates 35 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The new instrument cluster displays information like average fuel economy, service reminder, instantaneous efficiency, distance to empty, engine kill-switch on and side stand indicator.
On the flip side, the secondary display indicates the gear-position indicator, odometer, two trip meters and a clock. The updated hardware has resulted in an increased kerb weight of 184.5 kg as compared to 182 kg of the outgoing model.
