The most significant visual update on the 2019 Maruti Baleno (facelift) is likely to be the new bumper that carries a revised air dam and new fog lamp enclosures.

As per GaadiWaadi.com's new report, all the trims of the 2019 Maruti Baleno (facelift) will feature reverse parking sensors, front passenger SBR and high-speed warning, which will help the new model comply with the forthcoming more stringent safety norms. The Delta grade will gain projector headlamps.

Visually, the 2019 Maruti Baleno will look a lot like the outgoing version, with the only significant change arising out of the advent of a new bumper that carries a revised air dam and new foglamp enclosures. The front-end will even feature a new chrome upper grille accent. Moreover, the facelift is expected to gain a set of 16-inch machined alloy wheels on the Alpha trim, as well as revised tail lamps and a new interior upholstery.

Mechanically, the popular B2-segment hatchback should remain unchanged. While its petrol variant has been available with the K12M 1.2-litre petrol engine, the diesel version comes equipped with the D13A 1.3-litre oil-burner. The petrol motor outputs 84.30 PS and 115 Nm, while the diesel powerplant offers 75.05 PS and 190 Nm. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission that drives the front wheels. Additionally, the petrol engine is available with an optional CVT.
