The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been spied in a new white paint scheme ahead of its India launch in the coming weeks.
Yesterday, the official press image of the new Bajaj Dominar 400 was revealed by Bajaj Auto on its website. The new Dominar 400 debuted in Bajaj Auto’s new brand campaign TVC last week. As compared to the outgoing model, the 2019 Dominar 400 features mechanical as well as cosmetic upgrades.
The new Bajaj Dominar 400 features silver-finished upside-down (USD) forks that replaces the telescopic units on the current model. The front disc has been placed on the left side, while the bike gets a new twin-port exhaust system with in-built catalytic converter, re-profiled front mudguard and updated rear-view mirrors.
The new Dominar 400 will reportedly feature a more powerful and refined motor. In its current state of tune, the 373.2cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve mill churns out 35 PS of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque. It is wedded to a six-speed gearbox while a slipper clutch is standard.
The new twin-port exhaust system with the in-built catalytic converter on the 2019 Dominar 400 allows it to do away with the cat-con box which should also help in some amount of weight savings. The new Dominar 400 will feature an updated instrument console, which will display additional information like service reminder, gear position indicator and average fuel economy.
