The Hyundai Grand i10 will go through a thorough exterior and interior makeover for MY2019. Though it will sport a fresh look, it will still have familiar proportions and be funky enough to be targeted at young customers. As hinted from the previous spy shots, it will feature a more expressive cascading grille, a more stylish bumper and new sweptback headlamps. Furthermore, styling is promised to be improved with a smoother up-swept beltline and a more curvaceous greenhouse. The overall size and proportions are expected to have grown slightly which may improve cabin space.

On the inside, the Hyundai Grand i10 is set to receive a newly designed dashboard, steering wheel and centre console. It is also said to receive an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as Blue Link connected car connectivity feature as seen on the recently launched Hyundai Venue.

Its engine options will include a BS-VI compliant version of the  1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a BS-VI compliant version of the 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine. The transmission duties will be done by a standard 5-speed manual unit or an optional 5-speed automated manual unit. The latter will be a replacement for the 4-speed torque converter and may be offered with only the petrol engine.
