The exterior of the 2019 BMW 7 Series has fully leaked via images uploaded on official online configurators. The new sedan was very recently privately showcased to potential customers.
The 2019 BMW 7 Series features a design inspired by that of the BMW Vision Future Luxury concept that was introduced at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The slimmer and sharper twin headlamps feature BMW Laserlight, while the kidney grille, as on most recent BMWs, is a larger single-piece unit. The lower air intake adopts a more angular design, while the side air intakes are now included in only the M Sport variants, leading to a cleaner look for the other variants. That rounds up the front.
On the sides, the Air Breather and door sill form a perpendicular now, or it at least looks so from when viewed from certain angles. At the rear, the flatter tail lamps are more compact and the bumper looks more athletic. Moreover, the chrome strip between the tail lamps is sleeker, making space for a new light bar.
The 2019 BMW 7 Series will feature more advanced in-car technologies, including BMW Live Cockpit Professional running on BMW Operating System 7.0 and comprising a 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central display. As reports had said, the facelifted model’s line-up includes a new ‘745e’ iPerformance plug-in hybrid variant to replace the 740e iPerformance. The new variant is said to feature a 390 hp powertrain.

The new BMW 7 Series will hit the European markets in the coming months. In India, it may arrive in H2 2019. In related news, the 750Li and M760Li variants, which were CBU imports until the end of 2018, are no longer available in India.
