As reported this week, the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 has started reaching yards of dealerships. A team-BHP user has shared fresh images of the XUV500 facelift revealing the new two-tone 10-spoke alloy wheel design along with other exterior details.
The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 gets 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels on the top-of-the-line W11 grade. It comes with a new chrome finish grille flanked by revised headlamp clusters. They get horizontal LED strips in place of S-shaped ones. A new wedge shape tail lamp cluster is the most prominent change at the back. Changes to the inside include leather trim on the dashboard, silver trim on more elements and new tan leather/leatherette upholstery.
According to a report, the power and torque output of the 2.2 L mHawk diesel engine will go up to 155 hp and 360 Nm of torque respectively. The 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options are likely to be carried forward without any changes.

A recent report has also revealed that the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will be offered in at least four main grades – W5, W7, W9, and W11. The example pictured here is the Mahindra XUV500 W11 diesel manual variant. According to estimates, prices of the XUV500 facelift are likely to start at around INR 13 lakhs (ex-showroom). The range-topping W11 trim will cost around INR 50,000 more than the current W10 trim.
