IAB reader Munish Ghanghas has shared spy shots of the 2018 Maruti Ciaz facelift. The updated Ciaz is expected to go on sale in the first half of 2018. The Maruti Ciaz facelift will get mild exterior and interior updates as part of the mid-life refresh.
Unlike spy pictures that have surfaced over the past few months, the latest set reveals new tail lamp detailing. The partially visible tail lamps are quite similar to the ones the China-spec Ciaz (Suzuki Alivio Pro) sports.
Images from earlier this month point towards a new nose complete with a wider grille and a revised bumper. The Maruti Ciaz facelift for India will not be getting the China-spec Ciaz's single-frame grille. Inside, changes will be minor and could be restricted to new upholstery and a revised colour scheme for the dashboard.

Currently, the Ciaz is available with a 1.4-litre petrol engine that produces 92.45 PS of power and 130 Nm of torque and a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel engine that develops 90 PS and 200 Nm of power and torque respectively. There's a 5-speed manual transmission standard across both variants while the petrol Ciaz is also available with a 4-speed automatic. It’s unknown whether Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce any changes to the engines and transmissions with the launch of the 2018 Ciaz.
