Yamaha Motor Brazil has launched the 2018 Yamaha Fazer 250 ABS in the country at a suggested price of BRL 14,990, excluding shipping.
The 2018 Yamaha Fazer 250 is sold in India as the Yamaha FZ25. However, the Brazilian version features dual channel ABS, Pirelli Sport Demon tyres, and a 4-year warranty as standard. The motorcycle is available in Racing Blue, Matte Red, Black Eclipse, and White Crystal colour options.

Powering the 2018 Yamaha Fazer 250 is a 249.5cc SOHC 2-valve BlueFlex engine. The powerplant is marginally more powerful than the Indian version and is Ethanol compatible as well. It makes 21.3 PS of power at 8,000 rpm (21.5 PS in Ethanol); and 20.5 Nm of torque 6,500 rpm. The powerplant works in tandem with a 5-speed gearbox.

A 41 mm front telescopic fork, and a rear monoshock hold the diamond type frame. Brakes include a 285 mm front disc, and a 220 mm disc at the rear, both with ABS. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with 100-section front and 140-section rear Pirelli Sport Demon tyres.
Yamaha also offers accessories like tail luggage rack, lockable top box, LED indicators, and flyscreen. Other notable features include full digital instrumentation, and LED headlamp and tail light. The 2018 Yamaha Fazer 250 ABS primarily rivals the Honda CB Twister in the Brazilian market.
