As reported yesterday, the Maruti Vitara Brezza is receiving a number of updates for MY2018. These include a new orange-grey dual-tone exterior colour scheme, seen in the spy shots courtesy carandbike.
The current Maruti Vitara Brezza is available in LDI, LDI (O), VDI, VDI (O), ZDI and ZDI+ grades. With the yearly update, Maruti Suzuki will discontinue the LDI (O) and VDI (O) grades. It will start offering ABS with EBD and a co-driver airbag in the LDI and VDI grades. The LDI grade will gain reverse parking sensors as well. Hence ABS with EBD, dual-front airbags and reverse parking sensors will come standard across the range.
The Cerulean Blue exterior colour, which is available even in a dual-tone scheme that includes Pearl Arctic White roof also, is said to get discontinued. As seen in the spy shots, grey alloy wheels are replaced with black alloy wheels for a sportier look. The new model features a chrome front grille and chrome tailgate garnish as standard.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza will finally gain an AMT option in the MY2018. However, the 1.3L DDiS 200 diesel engine that produces 66 kW (90 PS) and 200 Nm of torque will remain standard. IAB has revealed through a certification document that the customers will get the AMT option in the VDi, ZDi and ZDi+ grades.
