The Ducati Diavel 1260 will soon replace the Ducati Diavel 1200 and BigBoyToyz seems to have used the opportunity to pick up the outgoing model from the Indian arm of the Italian luxury motorcycle brand at affordable prices. The second-hand luxury vehicle dealer has 20 units of the standard 2018 Diavel and 4 units of the limited edition (2017) Diavel Diesel. All four units of the limited edition Diavel have been sold out already. For reference, the Diavel Diesel was available at INR 14.99 lakh (on-road Delhi).
The motorcycles are brand-new with zero reading on the odometer. Yet, buyers would be registered as the second owner of the bike. The registration year for the Diavel 1200 will be 2019. It’s a remarkable deal where you can save almost INR 6.60 lakh on the Italian power cruiser.
Ducati India will soon announce the launch of the Diavel 1260. Unveiled at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy, the Diavel 1260 has several visual and mechanical upgrades, including an improved chassis. The engine, for example, is a 1,262 cc twin-cylinder, Testastretta DVT unit that produces 159 hp of power at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
The Diavel 1260 is packed with a comprehensive safety package (Ducati Safety Pack) that includes the following:
A sportier, S variant of the power cruiser that packs fully adjustable Öhlins suspensions at both ends and an even higher-performance spec braking system is also there. It comes with the Ducati Quick Shift up & down Evo (DQS) as standard, something that's available as an option on the based variant.
