Bookings for the motorcycles are now open while the deliveries will commence by the end of May 2019. Speaking about the India launch of the 2019 Scrambler range, Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India, said:
The Scrambler range is one of the most loved and highest selling Ducati family in the country. Scramblers have always been the quintessential bike when it comes to accessible power and supreme control on any kind of roads and this year, we have made the entire range more advanced and capable. The new line up is a cultural movement in itself standing for a free-spirited attitude. The Ducati Scrambler isn’t just a bike: it’s a whole new lifestyle, shaped by dedicated apparel and accessories. This is our first product launch of the year and we are thrilled to introduce the all new Scrambler range in India.
The 2019 Ducati Scrambler mounts an 803 cc air-cooled, L-twin engine that delivers 73 bhp of power at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 67 Nm at 5,750 rpm. A 6-speed transmission sends power to the rear wheel. Cornering ABS from Bosch is standard in the MY2019 range.
Standard features across the model range include all-new headlight with LED DRL, LED turn indicators with auto-off function, more ergonomic switchgear, black-painted crankcase, brushed cylinder head fins and beefier side panels. The LCD instrument console benefits from Ducati Multimedia System that lets the rider control the incoming calls, music and chat with the passenger via the intercom. The motorcycles can be customised with optional accessories available at dealerships.

The Scrambler Icon is now available in a new Atomic Tangerine colour scheme, in which the chassis and saddle are black and the wheels are grey. The flat track Scrambler-inspired Full Throttle features dual-tone black-yellow tank with a white-stripe running between the two colours. The MY2019 update brings an all-new rear end with dedicated seat and white-rimmed yellow number holders. The Café Racer draws inspiration from the Ducati 125GP Desmo and has received a new livery this year. The Scrambler Desert Sled, designed to take the beaten path, comes equipped with spoked wheels. The front wheel of the Scrambler Desert Sled is a 19-inch unit.
