Datsun India has launched the Go+ facelift in India, priced at INR 3.83 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 2018 Datsun Go+ receives cosmetic updates and feature additions as compared to the old model.
The 2018 Go+ facelift has been launched alongside the new Datsun Go hatchback, which is priced at INR 3.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Datsun Go+ facelift comes with revised styling that includes reprofiled headlights, a more prominent grille, redesigned front bumper with vertically stacked LED daytime running lights, larger 14-inch alloy wheels on the higher variants, rear washer and wiper, and revised rear bumper with parking sensors.
Interiors on the 2018 Datsun Go+ receive a complete overhaul. The car gets a revised layout for the dashboard with redesigned AC vents and centre console, and a lockable glovebox. Features include a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, electrically adjustable mirror, rear power windows and a revised instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer.
Standard safety features on the 2018 Datsun Go+ include a driver airbag and ABS, while a passenger side airbag is available on the top-spec trim. Other safety features include ELR-type rear seat belts, speed alert system, rear parking sensors and co-driver seatbelt reminder.
Powering the Datsun GO+ is a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 68 PS at 5,000 rpm while developing a peak torque of 104 Nm at 4,000 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission pair with the engine to transfer drive to the front wheels. An AMT gearbox is likely to be introduced at a later stage in the product lifecycle.

At present, the 2018 Datsun Go+ doesn’t have any direct competition. That said it will rival the upcoming sub-4-meter Renault RBC MPV. The Go+ MPV is available in four trim levels - D, A (EPS), T and T (O). The car comes in four colour options - Ruby, White, Silver and Grey.
