Hero MotoCorp has clocked over six lakh unit sales for the seventh consecutive month in November 2017.
The company has sold 605,270 units last month, recording a growth of 26% year on year. In the same month the previous year, Hero MotoCorp had sold 479,856 units. The motorcycle sales stands at 525,224 units, and scooters at 80,046 units of scooters in the month of November. At the 2017 EICMA, the company also showcased its adventure concept- the XPulse. The production version will reportedly launch in mid-2018.

During Dhanteras, the brand clocked over 3 lakh unit sales, and in the same month, it became the first company in the world to sell 2 million two-wheelers in a quarter. In September, it sold a record 7.2 lakh two wheelers. The company is planning a slew of launches in the near future, starting from the Hero XTreme 200S to a classic-looking 125cc scooter.
Hero MotoCorp also plans to sell its premium offerings with engine capacity of 150cc and above, at exclusive dealerships. In a bid to capitalize on the growing electric segment, the brand had invested INR 205 crores in Bangalore-based start-up Ather Energy. The Indian two-wheeler maker is also working on in-house electric vehicles.
