IAB's automotive illustrator has created a rendering of the 2018 Honda Amaze. The rendering is based on the design language followed by Honda's newest products and takes into account the information revealed via media reports regarding the design and styling of the compact sedan.
The 2018 Honda Amaze's nose section is inspired by the Honda City and is in line with MY 2018 Honda products like the Odyssey and Accord. It has a more aggressive face with slimmer headlamps and a sharply cut front bumper. Two-tone alloy wheels, a staple feature of newer Honda products in India, are also part of the rendered image.
A media report claims that the new Amaze will be wider than the outgoing model. As a result, there will be more space in the cabin. Honda will also try to spruce things up by adding more features.
The new Honda Amaze (codename: Honda 2UB) will be unveiled at the Auto Expo to the media on February 7, 2018, according to a report. The compact sedan derivative of the Brio will arrive in India before hatchback (codename: Honda 2UA). Production of the next-gen Amaze is set to commence in June 2018 reportedly.
