With the mid-cycle refresh, Ford will introduce a new grade in the Ford EcoSport - Titanium S. It will likely differ from the Titanium grade with darkened front grille and alloy wheels, smoked headlamps and black front fog lamp bezels, roof rails and rear spoiler. It appears to have black roof also to go with the colour scheme. Inside, the Titanium S grade has a floating display on the centre display, for the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system. The spy shots also give a close look at the new spare wheel cover and the new instrument panel.

The 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium S seen in the spy shots bears the ‘TDCi’ badge on the tailgate. It is powered by the 1.5-litre TDCi turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. Ford retuned this engine to deliver 100 PS and 205 Nm of torque two years back. It’s unknown if any further upgrades are due for MY2018.

The 2018 Ford EcoSport engine options will include a new Dragon series unit, though. The new 1.5-litre TiVCT naturally aspirated three-cylinder mill produces 123 PS and 150 Nm of torque. It will route power to the wheels via either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. There’s no word on continuation of the 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine (125 PS/170 Nm).
