An independent YouTube channel which goes by the name Free Advice has published its Hyundai Verna 2017 review video. This marks the first appearance of the India-spec Verna on video without camouflage. HMIL will launch the new Verna tomorrow.
Seen here is the range-topping SX(O) diesel variant of the Hyundai Verna 2017 that comes armed with a 128 PS 1.6 L U2 CRDi carried over from its predecessor. The video talks about the exterior and interior features of the sedan and touches briefly upon aspects of its on road performance and drivability.
New Hyundai Verna 2017 Features
Hyundai is offering the new Verna with a long list of features. It gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs, projector fog lamps and LED tail light graphics. Top of the line SX and SX(O) trims feature 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna. Inside, the 2017 Hyundai Verna is being offered with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mirro Link support. New additions to the equipment list include an electric sunroof, smart trunk functionality and front seat ventilation.
New Hyundai Verna 2017 Specifications
There will be two engine options to choose from - 1.6 L Gamma VTVT petrol and 1.6 L U2 CRDi diesel. These engines output 123 PS and 128 PS respectively. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard across all variants while EX petrol, EX diesel, SX+ diesel and SX(O) petrol can be had with a 6-speed automatic transmission option.

New Hyundai Verna 2017 Dimensions
The new Hyundai Verna is 65 mm longer, 29 mm wider and rides on a 30 mm longer wheelbase in comparison to its predecessor. It also has a bigger boot at 480 litres as compared to the outgoing model's 460 litres.
