The Royal Enfield Himalayan is the India-based company’s first true off-roader. Developed in close collaboration with Harris Performance, the Himalayan was introduced in India back in February 2016. Back then the motorcycle had a carburettor. A Fuel injected variant is set to be available in the Indian market soon, and Thailand gets this very variant.

The 411 cc SOHC mill in the Royal Enfield Himalayan is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 24.5 bhp of maximum power at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm of peak torque at 4,250 rpm. The bike is suspended on 41 mm standard telescopic forks up front and a link type monoshock in the rear.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan gets a large 21-inch wheel up front allowing it to take on the difficult terrain with ease. Brakes include a 300 mm disc in the front and a 240 mm unit in the rear with dual channel ABS.
