Royal Enfield inaugurates first showroom in Thailand - IAB Report

Royal Enfield has inaugurated its first showroom in Thailand, in Thonglor, Bangkok. The outlet features the company's partial range of motorcycles along with accessories and apparel, and is owned by General Auto Supply Co. Ltd.

Only four Royal Enfield models are launched in Thailand. It is unclear when the other models will be introduced.

Royal Enfield Bullet 500 - THB 179,800 (INR 3.45 lakhs)
Royal Enfield Classic 500 - THB 189,800 (INR 3.64 lakhs)
Royal Enfield Classic Chrome - THB 198,800 (INR 3.81 lakhs)
Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 - THB 219,800 (INR 4.21 lakhs)

Royal Enfield announced its plans to enter the Thai market at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo where the company displayed the range of motorcycles (listed above).

There is no word yet on the introduction of the remaining RE models in Thailand that are available in India, including the RE Thunderbird range and the upcoming, Royal Enfield Himalayan.

RE has sold 450,000 motorcycles globally in the calendar year 2015. The company targets production of 900,000 motorcycles by end of 2018.

Thailand is the most recent market the company has set foot in, on its mission to expand its global presence. The company recently entered/expanded its footprint in Latin America, Middle-East, UK, Europe and South East Asia, more specifically, Medellin, Bogota, Dubai, Madrid, Paris, London and Indonesia.
