The Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 was first showcased at EICMA 2015.
The Husqvarna brand is attempting to enter the street motorcycle segment with the Vitpilen family. Designer Shoeb Kalania has rendered a production version of the Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 Aero which is inspired from the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 Aero showcased at the EICMA 2016.
Powering the bike can be the same 690 cc single cylinder liquid-cooled mill from the Supermoto 701 which is sourced from KTM. In the KTM 690 Duke, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine is capable of producing 73.41 PS of maximum power. The engine setup in the Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 Aero can be in the same tune as the naked cafe racer.
