The Yamaha YS125 replaces the Yamaha YBR 125.
Yamaha UK has introduced a new commuter oriented motorcycle in the region. The Yamaha YS125 emerges as a more economical option with its lightweight body promising easy handling.
Yamaha has been building commuters for six decades now, and the Yamaha YS125 showcases their learning. The motorcycle gets Unified Braking System (UBS) for reduced stopping distance. It also produces a gear indicator and Eco indicator. Colour options include Red, White and Black.
Powering the Yamaha YS125 is a 125 cc air-cooled, SOHC, two-valve mill coupled to a five-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 10.6 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 10.8 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. Unlike the carburetted commuters sold in India, the Yamaha YS125 gets fuel injection.
