Team-BHP reader, RavenAvi, has acquired pictures of a Maruti Ignis at a dealer stockyard, suggesting that early units of the Maruti Ignis are dispatched ahead of its launch set for January 13.
Bookings are currently open at all NEXA dealers as well as the nexaexperience website for a deposit of INR 11,000. For new customers, there's - surprisingly - already a waiting period on the Maruti Ignis. People interested in the petrol variant will have to wait for 4-7 weeks to receive their car, while the diesel version stands at 7-9 weeks.
The engine lineup will include a 1.2L K12B 4-cyl petrol engine producing 61 kW (83 PS) and 113 Nm of torque, and a 1.3L 4-cyl DDiS 190 diesel engine with 55.2 kW (75 PS) and 190 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox for both variants.
