TVS Sport claims a fuel efficiency of 95 km/l.
The 2017 TVS Sport BSIV has been launched in India. Apart from meeting the new emission norms, the bike also gains a 35 watt Auto Headlamp On feature.
Powering the 2017 TVS Sport is a 99.77 cc four-stroke Duralife mill coupled to a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 7.8 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 7.8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Available in kick as well as self-start version, the bike tips the scales at 108.5 kg. The petrol tank can store 12-litre of fuel and the facility of econometer will help the rider extract a higher real world mileage.
The 2017 TVS Sport is suspended over standard telescopic forks up front and 5-step adjustable twin shocks in the rear. Brakes include a 130 mm drum in the front and a 110 mm unit in the rear. The bike measures 1,950 mm in length, 705 mm in width and has a height of 1,080 mm. The ground clearance of 170 mm will be a blessing in both rural and urban situations.

Colour options for the 2017 TVS Sport include Black Silver, Indigo Streak, Mercury Grey, Blaze Red, Volcano Red, Dazzling White and Electric Green.
The 2017 TVS Sport BSIV has been priced at INR 37,580 for the kick start/spoke wheel trim, INR 43,236 for the kick start/alloy wheel version and INR 46,924 for the self start/alloy wheel trim (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
