M&M will launch the updated KUV100 and a new variant of the TUV300 this month reports Autocar India. The 2017 Mahindra KUV100 will be the facelift that has been spotted testing on multiple occasions over the past few months.
The Mahindra KUV100 facelift will receive sheet metal changes to its rear door and tail area. Based on our spy pictures, the car will also feature a new front bumper, new headlamp profile, and a new set of alloy wheels with a darker finish. While Mahindra has confirmed that its product range will gain Android Auto in the next year or so, it is unclear whether the KUV100 facelift will receive a touchscreen at the time of launch.
Higher-spec trims of the KUV100 will get a textured dashboard and added features according to the report. Also, while the engine lineup will remain the same, it will be tuned for better fuel efficiency.
The Mahindra TUV300 will gain a range topping T10 variant. Highlights of this new variant will be dual tone paint shades, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and navigation and Mahindra Blue Sense app integration. The Mahindra TUV100 T10 will only get the 100 hp version of the 1.5 L mHawk diesel that powers the compact SUV. 5-speed AMT and a 5-speed manual will be the transmission options on offer.
According to the report, Mahindra will launch both products this month. It claims that the launch of the 2017 Mahindra KUV100 will take place on September 21, 2017. Before the end of the year, Mahindra will also introduce the Scorpio and XUV500 facelifts. The company is also expected to launch the TUV300 Plus and the U321 MPV in the coming months.
