Team-BHP member, RavenAvi, has shared images of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10, ahead of its launch today. The variant spied is the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 Sportz (O), which gains several new features.
The exterior receives a substantial facelift to its bumpers, where the front unit features Cascading’ hexagonal grille, boomerang fog lamp surrounds with LED DRLs, while the rear has a redesigned bumper with round reflectors.
Inside, the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 retains the dual-tone beige and black interior but has embraced equipment upgrades. For starters, Sportz (O) and Asta variants get a new 7-inch touchscreen system with reverse parking camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Asta grade will get the Hyundai Xcent’s automatic climate control exclusively.
Hyundai is also updating the engine lineup to have the new 1.2L turbodiesel paired with a 5-speed manual, which, according to reports, produces 74 bhp and 171 Nm of torque. The petrol variant will continue with the 1.2L VTVT 4-cyl engine available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 will be revealed officially in the coming hours.
