Will likely be launched in India next year.
The 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift) has been spied testing by Autos Segredos reader Jose Eduardo in Brazil. These, and previous spyshots have already hinted a couple of new features likely to be seen in the updated compact SUV.
Up front, the new front fascia may have cues borrowed from the Ford Edge and the Ford Endeavour, with changes revolving around the headlamps, grille, bumper and foglamps. The profile is expected to have no notable changes at all. Changes at the rear-end, if any, will probably include tweaked taillights and restyled bumper. Unlike the Euro-spec version, the Brazilian and Indian-spec model will retain the spare-wheel mounted on the tailgate.
Inside, the 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift) is expected to feature a new dashboard, steering wheel, instrument panel, HVAC vents, and updated seat upholstery. The Ford SYNC2 infotainment system with a colour display will likely find its way into the EcoSport with the facelift.

In South America, the 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift) will reportedly be available with a new ~130 hp 1.5-litre Dragon naturally aspirated petrol engine. It remains to be seen if this engine will be offered in India where the current options include 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel. The new Ford EcoSport will debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show in November. An Indian launch is expected in 2017.
