The Bajaj Pulsar 200NS continues to miss out on ABS.
Discontinued in 2015, Bajaj Auto has brought back the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS with a BSIV compliant mill. The bike also gains some cosmetic changes and Auto Headlamp On (AHO).
The powertrain is the same 199.5 cc triple spark mill derived from the KTM Duke 200. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine is expected to produce the same 23.52 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The exhaust system continues to be an underbelly unit. Bajaj has also not yet revealed the weight of the BSIV variant and the chassis continues to be the same perimeter frame unit.
The Indian version also continues to be a carburetted model while export markets like Turkey get fuel injection. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS also gains Auto Headlamp On feature and a belly pan. Colour options include Graphite Black, Mirror White and Wild Red.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will be competing against with the TVS Apache RTR 200 and the recently introduced Yamaha FZ 25. The Bajaj Pulsar though has an advantage on the power output front, however, the lack of a fuel injected version may be a small concern.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS has is priced at INR 96,453 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
