The Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS will also be a part of the 2017 Pulsar lineup with several cosmetic changes, reveals a new YouTube video.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 135LS gets new paint scheme and sticker options as seen in the upcoming Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220. Prime changes include a unibody seat, blackened heat shield over the exhaust canister and a single piece grabrail.
Engine details have not been revealed but with the government mandate forcing all two-wheeler manufacturers to shift BSIV emission compliance from the present BSIII norms, applicable from April 2017, the Bajaj Pulsar 135LS too is expected to move up the ladder. The present models gets a 134.66 cc single-cylinder, air cooled mill capable of producing 13.56 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 11.4 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.
The video also reveals the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 135LS featuring a matte finish on the clip-ons and a slightly changed instrumentation console. The lightweight motorcycle (121 kg kerb weight) continues with a drum brake setup in the rear. Tyres in the unit showcased in the video have been sourced from MRF.
The Bajaj Pulsar 135LS currently has a price tag of INR 60,178 in the national capital and an official announcement on the new model is awaited in the days ahead.
