Kawasaki Ninja 300, Kawasaki Ninja 650, Kawasaki H2 – Thai Motor Expo Live

Apart from the naked Kawasaki Z650, Z900 and Z1000, Kawasaki showcased their prowess with their faired motorcycle range. Here are some pictures of the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Kawasaki H2 from the Thai Motor expo.
Kawasaki Ninja 300
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a pocket rocket taking on the likes of the Yamaha R3 and the newly introduced Benelli 302R. Powering the motorcycle is a 296 cc parallel twin, liquid cooled mill producing 39 PS of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets a slipper clutch, 6 speed transmission and ABS as standard in Thailand.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is suspended by 37 mm telescopic forks in the front and a bottom link uni-trak mono gas charged shock with 5 preset preloads in the rear. The bike weighs 172 kg and has a price tag of 185,500 Thai baht.
Kawasaki Ninja 650
The new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 was unveiled globally at the recently concluded Intermot 2016. It has emerged sportier than the outgoing version and has a sharper looking tail. The new trellis frame houses a 649 cc parallel twin mill which produces 68 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 65.7 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. That’s a drop by 3 PS over the outgoing version. Mated to the engine is a 6-speed gearbox.
The brakes of the Kawasaki Ninja 650 are new and the callipers are sourced from Nissin. The instrumentation too has been upgraded while the wind deflector is now adjustable allowing 60 mm of movement. The new Kawasaki Ninja 650 has a price tag of 299,500 Thai baht.
The Kawasaki H2 is the pinnacle of motorcycle engineering, and its specialty is the world’s first supercharged inline, four cylinder 998 cc mill churning out 205 PS of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 133.5 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The power output can be increased further to 215 PS with RAM air intake, and it is paired to a 6-speed dog ring transmission. Features include an IMU developed by Bosch, a bidirectional quickshifter, Kawasaki cornering management system and a suspension system by Ohlins.
