The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is at present retailed in Laser Blue and Laser Black paint scheme.
Bajaj Auto recently updated the legacy Bajaj Pulsar models to comply with the upcoming change in emission regulations (except the Pulsar 150 which remains a BSIII). The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is set to gain a new Laser Red paint scheme as shown by new spy images revealed by Rushlane.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is largest selling 200 cc and above Pulsar despite the Pulsar AS 200 and RS 200 having newer and more powerful engine. In the 2017 avatar, the Pulsar 220F gains a new cool blue illumination in the instrumentation instead of the amber light seen earlier.
The seats too have been upgraded with better cushioning material. The contoured seats claim additional comfort and stability. The exhaust canister gets a matte black finish which is a shift from the all-chrome unit. Sadly, the bike does not gain any significant cosmetic or performance upgrade as claimed by Rajiv Bajaj earlier.
Speaking of performance, the powertrain is the same 220 cc oil cooled mill but with BSIV compliance. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine is capable of producing 21.05 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 19.12 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is suspended over standard telescopic fork up front and twin shocks in the rear.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at INR 91,201 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
