Indian launch expected at 2016 Auto Expo.
Following an image leak of the next generation 2016 Toyota Innova, our design artist, Shoeb, has created a digital mockup of the new Innova for a more clear visual for our readers.
Toyota's new design approach sees the 2016 Innova retain its predecessor's overall shape and stance, but with modern design elements. The headlights for example seem derived from the new Corolla Altis with their dual-barrel arrangement and LED position lights.
The grille is now wider and gaping, and gets chrome inlays which seem to integrate with the headlight clusters. Over to the side, the new Innova seems to have grown in length thanks to the added bulk after the C-Pillar. The rear window itself gets an interesting V-Shape design to it, though it appears a bit smaller than that of the outgoing model.
Inside, the cabin is expected to be modernized with a multi-function steering, a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control with rear AC vents, and not to mention safety features such as ABS and dual airbags.
