Ahead of its reported launch on November 23, the 2016 Toyota Innova has started arriving at dealerships, and seen here are exterior and interior images of what looks like the top-end 'Q' variant.
The exterior shows the projector LED headlights, the all-new dual-slat chrome grille, chrome wing mirrors and chrome door handles with smart entry, and alloy wheels (the Q diesel variant gets 17-inch alloy wheels, whereas other variants opt for 16-inch alloy wheels).
Inside, the 2016 Innova shows its all-new dashboard with faux-wood inserts, a touchscreen entertainment system that gets MIRACAST, HDMI, Bluetooth apart from USB and AUX-in, automatic climate control, and the captains chairs for the second row.
Under the hood, the 2016 Innova gets the 2.4-liter GD diesel unit, which delivers 149 PS and 36.7 kgm of torque (34.9 kgm of torque on the MT variants), or a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC with Dual VVT-i capable of 139 PS at 5,600 rpm and 18.7 kgm of torque. Both engines are available with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
As reported earlier, dealers have started accepting bookings for the 2016 Innova, which will be sold in three variants in Indonesia (G, V and Q). All variants will get ABS, EBD and three airbags as standard, whereas the top-end variant gets 7 airbags, VSC, and Hill Assist Control in addition.
