Public debut at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show.
Indian Autos Blog reader, Toldi, snapped the second generation 2016 Mercedes-Benz C Class Coupe on the streets of Stuttgart, Germany, recently. The camouflaged prototype is seen with a roofbox, which could be one of the many accessories Mercedes will offer on the W205 Coupe, and is already seen on the C Class sedan and estate variants.

According to media reports, the new C Class Coupe will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show (which is scheduled to take place in the second week of September 2015), and will allow the brand to better challenge Audi and BMW which offer the A5 and 4 Series in that segment respectively.
The engine options for the Coupe will be carried over from the sedan and estate, which are offered with four- and six-cylinder petrol engines and four-cylinder diesel engines. A range-topping AMG variant with the newly-developed 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 will power the C63 Coupe, while the C450 AMG Sport will get a V6 petrol engine with a 0-100 km/h time of under 5 seconds.
Customers will have the option to choose from two suspension setups - the regular setup with conventional dampers and springs or Mercedes's AirMatic suspension system with air springs at the rear.
