Tucson's cousin due for launch in September 2015, reportedly.
A couple of interior shots of the next generation 2016 Kia Sportage have surfaced, revealing the cabin design and rear seating. Sadly, the final design of the dashboard is kept under wraps, although we can expect Kia to improve the equipment and build quality of the Sportage, as seen in these cabin photographs.
The all-new fourth generation Kia Sportage will feature a new design that seems to borrow design cues from the Kia KX3. The front end is characterized by Kia's "Tiger nose" grille flanked by wrap-around LED headlamps, similar to the set in the new Sorento or pro_cee’d GT. At the back, it comes with new LED taillights with separate reverse lights.
The 2016 Kia Sportage will feature an engine lineup that is likely to include the all new 1.2 T-GDI turbo engine, a base 1.6 GDI, and a 1.7 CRDI diesel for the European market. It is paired to Kia's new 7-speed DCT transmission for better fuel efficiency and quick shift times.

Kia's Tiguan rivaling SUV is expected to be revealed in September, months after the launch of its sister model, the Hyundai Tucson. An Indian launch will certainly not happen, since the company itself hasn't made its way into the country yet.
