Indian version could be different from the international model.
The next gen Chevrolet Beat (Spark in the global market) which is out testing is closely related to the Opel Karl (also Vauxhall Viva). Here is a speculative rendering by Theophilus Chin which envisions the hatchback to be an Opel Karl with Chevrolet's trademark front fascia.
As per the rendering, the new Beat would derive its design inspiration from the new Chevrolet Cruze which went on sale in China earlier this year. The angular swept back headlights and chrome lined dual-port grille blend well with the rest of the hatchback.
The roofline is expected to be similar to that of the current version while the sheet metal would sport different creases. Just like the front, the rear fascia would be comprehensively reworked. The interior would have a lot in common with the Beat's Opel and Vauxhall siblings.
GM might elect to employ the all-new 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which debuted in the Opel Adam. In its current states of tune, the motor delivers 90 PS and 115 PS with identical torque output of 166 Nm.

The next gen Chevrolet Beat for India might not be the Spark that will go on sale in international markets. GM is currently working on a new affordable small car family for emerging markets under the Amber project, the hatchback member of which could be succeeding the Indian Beat.
