Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is showcasing its new range of tippers, miners and RMC trucks at the 8th International Construction Equipment and Construction Technology Trade Fair (EXCON 2015) in Bangalore. The company has launched the new Pro 8031XM tipper at the show and is highlighting the new Pro 6025T series.
Eicher Pro 8031XM
The Eicher Pro 8031XM of the new Pro 8000 series of premium trucks is a versatile tipper for hardcore mining applications. It is suitable for diverse operating conditions such as on flat roads or gradients and long leads or short leads. Its key feature is the fuel coaching system that guides the driver to operate the vehicle in the most fuel efficient manner and it has vehicle telematics to keep the fleet operator informed about the whereabouts and the condition of the truck in real-time.
Built in collaboration with Volvo, the Pro 8031XM is compliant to all 20 safety features as recommended by Directorate General of mines safety. The vehicle is powered by the VEDX8 7.7-litre engine that is based on the Volvo Group’s global platform. It has an output of 330 hp and 1,200 Nm at 1,200-1,650 rpm.
Eicher Pro 6025T
The Eicher Pro 6025T is a construction and port transportation truck that is designed for “Maximum Lifetime Profitability.” The Pro 6025T is powered by a VEDX8 7.7-litre engine that produces 220 hp, while the Pro 6025T RMC (Ready-Mix Concrete) is powered by the VEDX5 5.0-litre engine that has an output of 210 hp. The Pro 6025T also comes with fuel coaching and vehicle telematics.
