Features projector headlamps with LED DRLs and leather upholstery.
Ahead of its launch on May 21, a top-end Toyota Hilux Revo (specifically the 2.8G 6MT 4×4) was spotted with pre-delivery wrapping in Thailand.
Finished in a blood red paint color, the top-end Toyota Hilux Revo comes with projector headlamps and LED DRLs, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and chrome door handles and wing mirror covers. The design of the Toyota Hilux Revo is more of an evolution of the outgoing pickup rather than a new design altogether.
Inside, the new Hilux gets an infotainment touchscreen display, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a well laid out center console with buttons for the HVAC, keyless start/stop button, and electrically-adjustable wing mirrors with folding option. The seats are upholstered in beige leather, and the cabin is trimmed with what seems like high quality plastics.
The Toyota Hilux Revo comes with a choice between a 2.4- and 2.8-liter (featured) four-cylinder diesel engines under the new Toyota ‘GD’ engine family. Also on offer is a 2.7-liter four-cylinder petrol engine carried over from the outgoing Hilux Vigo for markets where gasoline is preferred. Transmission options include 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmissions and a 6-speed automatic. Top-spec models from each bodystyle benefit from a 4WD system.

The pickup sits on a new platform that will also underpin the next generation 2016 Toyota Fortuner and 2016 Toyota Innova, due for their global launches in 2015, and Indian launches in early 2016.
