Previews the changes in store for the 2015 Maruti Ertiga.
Following the media drive of the 2015 Suzuki Ertiga (facelift) in Indonesia, AutonetMagz has posted a slew of images of the facelifted model, revealing new updates that could also be seen in the facelift for the India-spec Maruti Ertiga.
The exterior of the new Suzuki Ertiga features a new 3-slat chrome grille, sportier bumper with new chrome bezels for the fog lamp housing, and a re-profiled radiator grille. The side profile remains identical to the outgoing model. Coming the back, it sports a new chrome embellishment above the registration plate area, rear parking sensors and extended taillamp reflectors.
Inside, Suzuki have retained the design, but have updated certain areas for a more-premium look. Few updates include new 3rd row seats with 50:50 split fold, new fabric seat upholstery, and new colors for the steering wheel, floor carpet, gear-knob and dashboard.
As for creature comforts, it gets power-folding ORVMs, Auto Up power window in the drivers side, and an optional socket console box in the second row. Suzuki has also made dual airbags as standard equipment across the range.
Powering the 2015 Suzuki Ertiga is the same 1.4-liter K-Series (K14B) VVT petrol engine, which now produces 92 PS power (3 PS less powerful) and 130 Nm of peak torque in the current model. It will continue offering a 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed automatic transmission.
The 2015 Suzuki Ertiga will make its debut on August 20 at the 2015 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show). Given that it's manufacture and exported as CKD kits by Maruti, an Indian launch of the facelifted 2015 Maruti Ertiga won't be too far away.
